awwaOnce again TOMCO2 Systems participated in a successful AWWA Convention and Exposition. ACE17 drew over 11,200 water professionals to Philadelphia June 11-14 to participate in 430 technical sessions and explore solutions from more than 500 technology providers.

TOMCO2’s booth location in the center of the exhibit floor proved to be a desirable location to visit for our customers, representatives and consulting engineers. Monday morning started off with bang, with many customers from all over North America stopping to visit; some from as far away as California and British Columbia; a tribute to the lure of Philadelphia as the host city.

Tuesday morning’s Representative meeting brought together a select group of TOMCO2’s representatives to discuss the water treatment market and offer up ideas and suggestions on how to improve TOMCO2’s already outstanding reputation in the Industry. We received a lot of great feedback and expect to implement many of the suggestions. Thanks to all of those participating!

Wednesday morning’s ACE17 Round Table Solutions Session, The Role of Carbon Dioxide for Corrosion Control was facilitated by Mike Dirth, TOMCO2’s Product Manager for Municipal Water Technologies. The presentation focused on the recently released EPA Document Optimal Corrosion Control Treatment Evaluation Technical Recommendations for Primary Agencies and Public Water Systems; specifically the role of Dissolved Inorganic Carbon (DIC). The participants were very engaged in the presentation and offered up their own experiences and successful results utilizing TOMCO2’s products in their plants for precise pH control of their processes. Again, thanks to all the water systems professionals participating in the session!
